You will get caught up in the spirit of Megargel

It all started with the name, "supplied" by the

superintendent of the railroad for a new railroad

supply town in 1910.  Legend has it that Roy

Megargel never actually came to see the town

with his name.  Most  may have never previously

heard of him, but the town with his name became

a legend.  Thousands of people have since called

Megargel home.  Many of them have left a mark on

the world.  All are proud they passed through, or in

the case of the 248 people lucky enough to call

Megargel home today, proud they stayed.

Megargel is like no other town and has a spirit of its

own.  Anita Palmer has captured its essence in

bringing this book together.  It was a labor of love.

When you read it and follow the history, you may,

like Mr. Megargel, never actually have lived there in

person, but once you have visited through this

great book, you will have captured the spirit for the rest

of your life.  Read it.  You will be glad you did.
